At The Center for Martial Arts, we are committed to promoting well-rounded and successful individuals. Because we believe a proper education is essential to achieving this, we have developed the Academic Achievement Program. Our aim for every student who participates in this program is academic growth. Regardless of your previous academic success, we will set goals that are appropriate for your skill level and reward their achievement. By finding goals that your teachers, parent(s)/guardian(s) and Academic Achievement Advisor all find fitting, we drive our members to new levels of academic success.

Members eligible for this program are third graders and older, we would like this program to be more rigorous than is appropriate for younger students. This program rewards individual goals that are set periodically and usually will change each time. Goals are set through collaboration with teachers and the Academic Achievement Advisor. The goal is meant to be challenging; true growth must be demonstrated.

When students complete their goal they will be rewarded with an Academic Achievement Patch and a chevron patch that corresponds to the belt color that they are when they achieve their goal. Every goal achieved after that initial goal will be rewarded with chevron patches that correspond with that belt color. There is no limit to the number of patches you can acquire per belt color or while in the program. In addition to the patches we highlight successful students so that they can be proud of their hard work and accomplishments.

We encourage you to challenge yourself and strive for academic excellence. The Center for Martial Arts is a place that cultivates life-long learners in the martial arts and all pursuits.
